WARN is a Federal law that says that, an employer must give an employee 60 days written notice before you are laid off and must pay you for those 60 days, in addition to any severance you may be entitled to.
Most states also have their version of WARN too.
If your employer failed to provide the required 60-days’ notice, please contact the Federal Department of Labor (DOL)
