I'm in the newly created RE Lending dept and extremely happy to have a job until 2024 , hopefully longer, however, this delayed blessing is either PR motivated or a way to avoid WARN notices. Either way I'm thankful. Thank you SunTruist 🙏
Was that wonderfully useless CHief Audit Lady let go. That could save some jobs.
We were told today in the lending department no more cuts in our area until the first 2 weeks of January,
They will certainly want as much as possible done Q4 especially since they have made it known it will be a less than stellar quarter anyway.
I believe that most will be done in December to get them off the books for 2024, and that idea was expressed in a meeting lead by senior mgmt a few weeks ago
This wave was leadership in Audit, I assume the lower levels will be the next round
This wave is very light, Waves 2-3 will be half the teammates you know.
