I'm in the newly created RE Lending dept and extremely happy to have a job until 2024 , hopefully longer, however, this delayed blessing is either PR motivated or a way to avoid WARN notices. Either way I'm thankful. Thank you SunTruist 🙏

We were told today in the lending department no more cuts in our area until the first 2 weeks of January,

They will certainly want as much as possible done Q4 especially since they have made it known it will be a less than stellar quarter anyway.

I believe that most will be done in December to get them off the books for 2024, and that idea was expressed in a meeting lead by senior mgmt a few weeks ago
