Well myself and 50 others have been let go. Our last day is tomorrow. AR billing/Operations.

They started with redeployments and now it looks like this.

You guys, it’s a blessing in disguise. There are many companies hiring . I lost my job and already have a new one lined up. Better pay / benefits and I took what I learned at Optum and updated my resume. I think of it like I was advanced into a better job and out of that toxic unstable environment. Like a cannon ball being blasted 🚀💥 into a new job! 😂 . Instead of letting them stomp me, and control or negatively affect my life, I utilized the skills I had and learned there and will utilize them somewhere else where Im valued, respected and appreciated. Turn it around on them. I took 9 weeks off and feel great!
Optum Rev Cycle lost a major client. My money is on Optum losing Dignity Health too. Just look at the money they have lost. Makes me sick to my stomach.
50 AR Billing employees. The rumor I have heard from multiple upper managment is Optum is looking to get out of the AR Billing part.
I was told 10/26 that 11/9 would be my last day. When one door closes, God always opens another.

Were you told you were laid off today and tomorrow is your last day or did you know before today? It seems like they’re surprising people last minute.
