Yes this sh*tshow is getting crazier. Whole work environment getting toxic.

You do realize you're allowed to leave if you're unhappy, right? You're not required to just sit around being miserable and hoping things change.
You realize the buyer would bring in new leadership, particularly in technology.
If insurance is sold it would be the equivalent of missing your voyage on the Titanic. Good luck!
