You have the premise entirely wrong.

The deal is not waiting on China. China was never holding this up, nor their approval required. Nor were they ever expected to approve.

Biden won't remember what he's there to discuss, may fall down on the way to dinner, and may or may not form intelligible sentences at the dinner if he isn't hospitalized from the fall.

I have a feeling next few weeks will be dramatic. The game of poker between different actors will intensify and hidden agendas and surprises will start to emerge here and there.

It's gonna be a wild ride but ultimately the deal is most likely fail no matter what. The bigger question is how long this will drag on. A lot of people are hoping to get closure by Nov 26, but I personally think there's not a small chance it will drag on longer. (I certainly hope not though)
