worked in the LTC industry a looong time ago and was filled with shady operators and questionable financials...so when CVS bought Omnicare it was obvious CVS didn't know what the he-l they were getting into...I see things still haven't changed lol.
CVS is completely stuck with Omnicare. No company in their right mind would buy that mess with the debt load and all the problems. I just don't see how CVS can continue taking these huge losses every year. I still think they may close it down at some point, but maybe that's not possible?
I don't think they are "pausing" Omnicare sale. More likely nobody wants to buy it.
It'll be interesting to see how this develops.
