Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

Wow amazing other companies can pay not walgreens though, what a joke

The coffee giant said "Effective January 1, eligible U.S. retail hourly partners will see an incremental pay increase come to life, with at least a 3% increase and differentiated pay for eligible tenured partners."

Starbucks adds that eligible employees with 2-5 years of service will see at least a 4% raise, while those with five or more years will get at least 5%. A spokesperson for Starbucks told FOX Business that there will be no menu price increases to offset the wage increases.

Sadly no corporate support staff received merit at corporate either. I assume the previous comments are suggesting the execs.

Support office staff got a big fat goose egg for merit increase. All while they forked out 9 million for Roz, 875k for one month of Ginger basically sending emails and ruining everyone’s Friday for 3 weeks in a row and who knows how much Tim and the new hire are making. Gotta love it.

Not sure why Walgreens even bothered with performance reviews this year. Seemed like they were very last minute and the paltry 2% raise was predetermined.
From wat I hear, some only 1%. Complete waste of time.
