Splunk's Bay Area workforce is taking one on the chin amid the company's latest downsizing.
The San Francisco-based software company last week announced plans to cut about 560 employees, 7% of its global workforce. Now, newly posted California employment filings show that roughly a quarter of those cuts are based in offices in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, and many of them are senior positions.
