“We must not be using the same LinkedIn platform then, since I've seen quite the opposite…”

Then prove it and cite or quote a snippet of what you’ve allegedly seen so we can search and look it up ourselves (I bet you can’t).

"Falcon Line, 3D, Ink, Large Format."

  • Can confirm jobs in Large Format being moved to Spain.
  • Can confirm Ink jobs being moved to Singapore.
  • Can confirm Layoffs in 3D, but those started in January with some moving to Corvallis.

"So, what business unit had layoffs on 11/06 in both CRV and SD? Don't be shy. At least make one up."

"There hasn’t been any layoffs lately and the proof can be found (or “not found” in this case) on Linkedin! Every other company has employees posting their “sad but grateful” layoff stories but not one recent post can be found on HP!"

We must not be using the same LinkedIn platform then, since I've seen quite the opposite - a mixed bag of ex HP/Poly/Omen/HyperX employees who are not necessarily "grateful" to the corporate grinder that chewed them up and spat them out through WFR action, rather than cutting cost by reducing salaries and other forms of compensation to the greedy execs.

Post from TheLayoff.com

When I was with HP, I have personally seen about 3-4 people get laid off about 2 weeks prior to thanksgiving in Print. Gauarntee you it happens, there is no month to where you are not "safe" at HP.

"I call this bull. In my 20 years with HP I never heard of a layoff in Nov-Dec. What is the point? FY is over. If they needed to make the books look better, they had all Oct for that."

Things are really bad this time. PCs are not selling and customers are revolting against HP printers. Just look at the class-action lawsuits, and even Enrique mentioned in an interview he was surprised "how soft" the consumer printer sales were.
Disable printers for not using HP ink and this is what your get.

Can corroborate being told in a big meeting on Monday Nov 6th by my mgmt chain that both CRV and SD sites were affected. No one will tell how many. A coworker emailed today and said they were part of the WFRs.

How can you call this bull if it happened? Seriously? You can't hide this.
