Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

Corporate greed

So we all know now that corporate has moved to Claremont. To please them and to not have to associate with the blue collar’s they fixed them up a new lounge. Oh, and let’s not forget they took away our cafeteria. But let’s not forget that corporate needs their food. So breakfast and lunch is brought in for them, everyday. Yep and on CS’s dime. We need to save money? No anniversary lunch for our employees? Stock is going down? But let’s make sure our president’s, VP’s and so ons are taken care of, no expense?
The greed this company has, amazes me.

Are layoffs across the board? What locations?

And of course when the CEO Chucky or the CFO Kyley find it necessary to visit, they fly in on one of their two (not one, but two!) corporate jets. Heaven forbid they fly commercial and experience all that inconvenience!

Okay, but...

Does this really surprise anyone? This company has been on Autopilot for quite some time now. The amazingly wide and expansive layoff brush they took to the company in May/June had no rhyme or reason to it. Subject matter experts, principle engineers, and people who were the single-source of knowledge all found themselves cut. Some departments were either completely gutted, or had their staffing levels cut by a third or a half while those who remained were told to "Pick up the slack".

Whatever this d-mb company does now no longer surprises me.
