Didn’t get FTE but we were all sent invite from our VP with Broadcom emails on it. Looked them up they are leadership (VP of architect at BC software, VP of Latin America at BC software …) there will always probably be announcements .. anyone know anything ? I see some VMware leadership (director level) connected to these VPs at BC…

Asking us to focus on Q4 but also saying if you didn’t get offers then it’s ok to take care of your and your family and network and focus on getting job which was surprising to hear. They remain confident it will close anytime between tomorrow and the 26th….

I bet they will announce the deal is "on track" and will close "soon" but there is "no update"

We'll see soon, but this could just easily be a sales Q4 clarification call. We now go into VMware's Q4 with very little information. They hyped up closing Q3 with incentives, but now Q4 has nothing like that mentioned. Doing sales work when your quarter could end so early, and your accelerators are all at the end of your quota (or were brought into Q3) is not very rewarding.
Thanks for sharing about the meeting, but I'm expecting a sales Q4 update with more of "we'll know soon".

In the past all hands were always scheduled after a layoff so I can see why people are speculating
Why are emails being sent to everyone over the weekend and not during normal weekdays during working hours? If it was a nothing burger, they would have sent it our last week during working hours. Something is up.
This is simply a sales meeting that has BC staff on it.
People continuing to behave as if it happened already like some I know that flew to another state to talk sales strategy

All it says is all hands west strategic team. No agenda to it or anything like that. Everyone invited and 3 BC emails of 3 VPs in BC software.
Why do you guys doubt anything …. Ask any strategic rep in the west they received it, so did specialists.
