Always been an issue but don't expect a change for the better anytime soon. I do worry of those playing sport and exercising outdoors.
Get an airfilter for your home, or multiple so you can cover the full house. Especially for bedroom so your night time slumber will be in clean air. Be prepared to pay a bit for a good one. But if you do you can create high quality indoor air.
WHO has dropped the safe limit to 5 mcg.
I can confirm this personally from readings from my house in Dhahran. It’s been over 120 for the last 164 days, with only 3 days when it’s dropped to a wonderful 80. That’s still 8X WHO safe limits!!
Enjoy breathing those industrial emissions.
It amazes me people still exercise outdoors, ignorance is bliss.
