Here we are, about three weeks away from the “return to office” day, with zero communication. I for one hope this isn’t being tracked by badge, swipes or whatever because I will definitely live in my time in the office even if we are required to go in… The numbers do not make sense for Deerfield employees to Deerfield office space… Does anyone know if the 200 and 300 buildings have been sold already? Cramming thousands of employees into four little buildings doesn’t make any sense mathematically, nor does being shoulder to shoulder with a mix of departments. Tim Wentworth is all for office work according to his LinkedIn.. the lack of communication in this company is beyond ridiculous

I’ll leave this here. Everyone is assuming the campus sale is the same as it was once thought. What if the future campus isn’t going to look like it was once thought to look like??? What if it was going to look 2/3 like what the old campus looked like instead of 1/3?
Your new CIO, Sample, is a huge proponent of remote work so it may change for some people. At his previous gig he had a "locate for your day" philosophy where you were only expected to go into office if you really needed to do so.

New office policy is early to work. Show up early and you have a place to work. Otherwise you are standing room only with one handle holding the laptop and the other one typing.
I heard they are wrapping the 108 parking garage in plastic and adding kerosene heaters so additional cubicles can be setup out there for the winter
Then again I also heard fuel costs too much for the heaters so the backup plan is to just keep it warm with all the hot air coming out of the Tracey brown clown show
Does Chicago prosecute crime like shoplifting?
I read a story that some areas no longer have grocery stores because of all the shoplifting.
I know so many major cities are not prosecuting shoplifting.
