Thread regarding Sensata Technologies layoffs

Are any Sensata sites laying off in 2023 other than the Spear Power Systems in Missouri?

This seems to be a dead thread for Sensata but in 2023 the company seems to be hemorrhaging due to lack of good overall financial performance for a few years, ongoing.

I have heard the Attleboro site has layed off some people and one of the automobile products sites somewhere around there layed off some people last year, and maybe has closed the site.

Now in 2023, the Spear Power Systems site in Grandview, MO was butchered with 80% initially layed off with product lines dropped. Then a volunteer buyout package was offered to all North American employees, of which most of the remaining employees in Grandview took it and ran away. So it sounds like a complete implosion of the last product lines of space batteries.

Ever since Sensata bought the Spear operation it seemed that despite all kinds of "plans" of big things coming, they didn't have the belly to actually run a challenging operation and the challenges involved in the product line. It's not easy to create battery systems on ships and other vehicles, and didn't seem to want to invest anything other than get by. I saw it as a "sink or swim" on our own, and they just let us wither on the vine until the final daggers deployed.

Have any other Sensata sites experienced mass or big layoffs this year?

I see Bain Capital (the overlord of Sensata) as a vulture capital company only bent on extracting value out of anything they get their hands on, with no real ability nor desire to run operations, despite all of their propaganda of their abilities. To be fair, I'd bet they got bamboozled Spear to get acquired, but I didn't see much to impress me with their abilities, either. They do have some good people with good intentions, but it didn't appear they tried to make a success out of the mess they acquired.
