Yea Jane!!!! You go girl!!!! Let your vision unfold and lead us to better times.

You are delusional. Jane can easily explain cause and effect with over the top hand gestures upon the next town hall meeting. There’s been many times where I thought “whoa, she doesn’t know what she’s talking about” but later on “oh man, I was so wrong. Jane has those hand gestures going on, my mind is now changed. Thank, you Jane, thank you for your vision that lead us to laying off people. I was so wrong about you and your direction for the company. I’m now a changed man.”
it will have a lasting impact for those who remain on - no one will be thrilled to do more with less esp after losing peers with years of knowledge. trust and job security will also be gone. good luck attracting top talent
Leadership at Citi miserably failed. It is time to remove the outdated and rolled leadership and replace them with new generation of leaders!
Haven’t they clearly stated the groups that will be impacted? Regions and functions. Functions are ESPA, legal & compliance, operations & tech, internal audit, risk & controls, finance and HR.
Honestly - for anyone saying it will all be okay…yea we know it will. But that’s not the point. I don’t care if we’re talking business or not - basic human decency would be to notify which groups are considered safe and which are not to reduce the mount of people sitting here in anxiety for literal MONTHS. This whole this is a sh-t show, and i the cluster f*** is going to get worse.
some managers are simply terrible and poor leaders... a fresh change will likely decrease some but i wish the best for those who have been knock down ... rise and get even
