Good luck China finding alternatives to VMW and BC. While I am pretty sure China isn't a huge revenue stream for VMW I assume they run most of their stuff still ontop of vSphere

@nor+1ppychpa How does the global cellphone market share of 4% ki-l 28.30% of the iPhone market share? Huawei's phone market share does not even match Xiaomi's. Huawei is nonexistent in the US.
You mean like Huawei is struggling with 5G and the iPhone ki-ler? iPhone is overheating and burning?
The sword cuts both ways on something like this. Yes, theres great financial impact for BC, but also imagine China instantly losing access to Broadcom and VMware technologies and innovations. With the combined market share both companies hold across a number of categories, it would be catastrophic for them to be cut off while foreign competitors have access.
- 3B is the penalty maximum, BUT I doubt their future business would be as lucrative in that country after they went against them. They would certainly lose far more over the long run. Governments can be quite petty.
