It's November. When do they start?

Anyone with any insight?

I think its time for a minority female CEO. There are plenty out there with the experience, knowledge and vision to lead us out of this mess.. It’s time to move aside and let someone else lead.

The leadership at Citi is big embarrassment! a new generation of leadership is badly needed!
Please please please get rid of these outdated and rotten leaders!

Where are Jane and execs. After being on weekly town halls, now they went underground. That should be the sign that cuts are coming. I used to believe Citi was a good company but no more. The bank desperately needs new leadership. They can downsize all they want and nothing will improve. A company can’t grow by blaming the employees. It is the lack of vision at the top.

It’ll be the week of Thanksgiving guaranteed. Jane and\or Citi don’t care the slightest impact it may have on your holiday spirits. They think no more of it than turning a door knob.

I don’t think there’s a word invented yet to express how little they care about the emotional, mental, psychological effect it may have on anyone before, during or after the holidays. Don’t kid yourself by thinking that they do.

You can justify it anyway you want. “Business need” , “trimming the fat” , “streamlining” etc…it doesn’t matter how you package it the end result is the same. It’s happening and they don’t care.

For technology areas, given that for some teams 2024 work begins November 13 and there is no clear view into work to be done for 2024, that week makes sense. Nobody has confirmed, but managers have been asked to rank order directs.

You guys are worried over nothing. Regardless of when and how many, it’ll all be ok.

Jane will host a TH and express regret but move on to “focus on the future and work together as I continue to let more of you go” with lots of over the top hand gestures.

This will make it all ok.

the changes will be seismic- all bcs we have an imbecile for a ceo who has never clearly articulated a vision for each LOB. the interviews are so cringeworthy with all of the hand gestures and non linear talking points. hard to believe pandit got rolled yet here we are

Probably both the week before or of Thanksgiving and Christmas because Citi is classy like that. This way for many years to come the ex-employee can reflect on the time Citi let them go right before the holiday. Two thumbs up for having style Citi, well done.

Layoffs have been happening continuously since the announcement ( and before of course). Will there be a big day where a bunch happen at once, probably. But 7k have already been let go this year.

Based on secured deliverables. Starting next week or 20th till January.
Expect things to continue and Don't expect any hikes.

I think the week of the 20th is when the MD shares their changes. I am only guessing based on Jane saying something about that timeframe and the managed segments change on the 24th.

I wonder what we will hear. Is it going to be just what the MDs are doing and then does it go down a level or so with future changes? I guess we will know soon enough. It has been radio silent so far.
