Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

How would you rate CEO's performance and why?

I wander what folks will say on this forum, it's anon after all. There is so much praise on Glassdoor and the Board seems not to care. What's your evaluation?

We all knew this was going to happen though when he first came onboard right?

A L plate CEO with not much experience coming into the role talking about his 3 dogs with no understanding of technology. I mean what did we expect. He was always going to be a failure and we are witnessing it play out now.

It’s all about getting the ELT involved in the Exec Briefings in front of customers and/or new business prospects.

You do this in depth briefing document because they are so engaged they will make time to understand.

Then the CEO comes on and the waffles reading a script on the screen.

Never see Satya or anyone similar do the same.

very true, by the workers' view and standard, SM is a big failure and fraud for leading us on.

He and his cronies think they are doing a great job. Why? because they were hired to dismantled the company and get a % doing it.

He is a friend of one of the Board members, say no more... Otherwise, who would in their right mind put an untried former head of services as a first-time CEO of an ailing public company? Particularly a company that just fired another first-time CEO.

Glassdoor feedback is gamed. HR and Marketing set up accounts to keep the approval ratings high. Ask KCC at the next all hands and watch her squirm.

The CEO is way in over his head. As someone else said the other day if that was the best they had to choose from then obviously the talent pool was very shallow.

Its doubtful he will find another CEO as his performance in the current role is way below par. But he is the captain of the sinking ship. He may as well go down with the ship

The 3.9 on Glassdoor as of last week blows my mind. I expect that number will plummet down to reality in the next few weeks.
