Overtime for the holidays?

Has anyone heard anything in their stores about overtime for the holidays? Our location has had a lot of talk about other store closures and how that could be affecting it, but I wanted to hear if anybody else has heard anything - whether about closures or overtime :)

OT is approved during the 6 weeks of holiday. Pick up all you can or see you peopleleader. If you don't see hours now, just wait for half or more of the seasonals hired to quit and their hours will be available and ready for you.

This year they have clamped down on hours like crazy. I haven't heard anything. The holiday schedule has come out and it's only letting you pick without limitation the week prior and of thanksgiving. So if it's any indication OT will be minimal if any at all sadly. But like a poster said, just wait til stuff hits the fan and they'll beg you to stay.

Just wait until we get into the holiday season and you can probably get all the overtime you want. If you haven't been through a holiday season at Macy's, strap yourself in and wait for the store to spin out of control. As long as you are willing to work fulfillment, pick-up closing shifts or early opening shifts, you should have your pick of hours.

The company has cut out so many jobs that most stores can't keep up with the workload and managers get frantic trying to keep their jobs and stop caring about overspending.
