"I expect that if and when the deal closes, there may be class-action lawsuits filed that attempt to gain a settlement for the damage done by misleading the majority of VMW shareholders into supporting a deal that benefited a few individuals. That's fraud."
LOL the "majority of VMW share holders" are not the MAJORITY share holders. Dell and Silverlake hold enough shares to force through what they want. Add in a lucrative pay out for the board and executives... there were only like 12 people that needed to be convinced this was a good idea for it to be a landslide.
You mean trawling, as in fishing for information. Trolling is sh-t posting. In any case lawyers aren't going to engage with you.
I don’t know about lawyer trolling the threads, but there do seem to be a lot of trolls pretending to be lawyers.

What for? They have better things to do.
I guess most people trolling here are not even involved - not Broadcom and not VMWare folks..
I expect that if and when the deal closes, there may be class-action lawsuits filed that attempt to gain a settlement for the damage done by misleading the majority of VMW shareholders into supporting a deal that benefited a few individuals. That's fraud.
Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe here. Who would we make contact with to have an exploratory discussion?
Yes. It’s a suitable question.
Maybe they can give us some advice :)
Simple question. Why worry?
Why would a lawyer troll the threads? What makes you think that?
