I'm not sure whose idea it was to lay off some of our best people, but whoever made that decision is an id--t. I understand that people with more experience earn more, but if you get rid of them you are also getting rid of important institutional knowledge. You are losing much more than you are saving.

Former Splunker and realized the day I got there....this place was run by some of the worst humans around. These layoffs will continue. I got wind it was more technical people, but a guy I worked with when I left just told me he was let go. Among one of the best in a group of rookies, but I am CERTAIN, the manager was probably like "I want younger people". Man. Splunk is going down burning and people are watching. The mgmt have zero idea about running a great company with a great culture. Most are sc-mbags.
Yes they're b######s.
I went into an office in a location where 800 people who are suppose to go into the office. The building on three floors had at most 80 to 90 people inside. The majority of people are refusing to go into the office tuesday to Thursday. They're threatening people to go into a CA office but we all work with those in VA and not with others in CA.
