Ask yourself if TDC would be on your list of the Top 25 companies in tech you want to work for? Now you get to escape from this dying, woke, laggard and move on with your career. You may be sad or worried but you’ve been trapped and now you are set free. It’s the ones left there I feel sorry for. Pop the champagne and prepare for something better.

Anyone left at Teradata is probably incapable of getting hired by any leading data/analytics companies. Why would anyone work for this woke dog? The longer you stay, the more un-marketable you will be. If you are a year from retirement maybe you hold your nose and ride it out. Anyone else should just quit m.
It's been a liberating experience and the journey from here onwards is going to be great. I've already taken another role and will be heading into my old Teradata customers next week and will now help them migrate off their legacy Teradata platforms quicker. They'll use all of my experience and knowledge so it's a win win situation all around.
I feel lucky! Getting rif'd was the BEST news. Good riddance.
