Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Bonus/Layoff Rumors

Heard from two reliable sources that the funding level for the bonus pool will be a lot lower than the past 5+ years and that some BU’s in FI will not be happy. Really not happy. Anyone hear anything like that?

Also I keep hearing rumors of layoffs but nothing about a major RIF. Anyone?

Easy troubleshooting to help you.

Microsoft team. Look for keywords: "Skills", "fired", and "threatening". Get those who have viewed these messages recently. Cross the IP that logged in Fidelity with the ones used here.

Wrong person again... Do you see all wrong assumptions. But let's be honest, you know that. You are just trying to find an excuse for the things that you have done. Is easy say that someone fooled you and move forward. But in fact you wished do all that you done.
This company can pose on LinkedIn as diverse and inclusive. But they leadership is full of sociopaths with a good networking of other sociopaths. I regret to worked for this company and wh-t psychopaths like you. I hope that you advance to the higher ranks of Fidelity and continue leaking customer data. They deserve to have each one of you psychos.

"I hope they all get fired. More for me. Get rid of the competitors. "

Because you are a low performer but su-k up and go into the office you hope people actually doing good work get fired? What a loser. You'll be fired soon enough.

How do you know that? Quit fear mongering. No one is being 'targeted'. There are many issues with the company, just like any place. But this isn't it. It's probably just your insecurity. Pick up some useful skills that will make you indispensable. Then there is really nothing to fear.

Doubt it as Fidelity always take care of their employees. Bet we have another generous bonus match and share price as well as the usual 15% profit sharing on top of our 7% dollar for dollar match.

The market might have done poorly, but Fidelity did well and the quarterly reports Abby has been posting have shown growth. Why should our bonus not reflect the quarterly performance?

I hear that a lot of people still refuse to come in the office during connect weeks.

Some of them are high performers.

I hope they all get fired. More for me. Get rid of the competitors.

A chapter lead said that individual bonus allotment will be negatively affected by poor connect week attendance, but he didn't say if that was just his chapter, or BU, or company-wide. The markets did poorly this year so there's no reason to expect that the overall bonus pool will be well funded. No word on layoffs and no WARN notices in my state, but many departments are doing a soft freeze on hiring.
