Section 4 – Fourth Service Recognition Bonus
A lump sum payment in the amount of $1,000 shall be made to each employee who performed active service under the collective bargaining agreement between January 1 and November 30, 2023 and who: (1) maintains an active employment relationship with the carrier as of December 1, 2023; or (2) retired or died on or after January 1, 2023. The payment will be made no later than December 31, 2023.
Do we get a bonus this December

Will this go on a check or come separately?

The phrase is “ maintains an active employment relationship with the carrier.” What that means has to be defined…some organizations define furloughed employees as having an active employment relationship because they can call them back at any time and all of their employee information (training, vacation eligibility, employee number, etc.) are the same. Other organizations only consider an employee active if they are scheduled to continue working on their next regular day. It’s not about using your little brain, it’s about asking how your organization defines it, and providing that definition as it appears in writing.
When will we start seeing these

@idv-It says nothing about a furlough status employee. Please quit getting peoples hopes up. They are doing this to keep from paying it, the same they are doing to management so they don’t have to pay their bonuses.

So agreement layoffs are a guarantee sometime this month…
