Officially, my department has been confirmed to be outsourcing our positions to Mexico City. We are now being forced to train and sit with our replacements in a pilot program to make sure they understand the job and all that comes with it! After the fiasco of providing us with incorrect merit increases effective 10/1, no one on my team feels secure in our position or happy with this job anymore! Tired of being lied to, gaslit and absolutely drained of all of my happiness and energy by this place!
If you’re not familiar with the merit increase fiasco, allow me to elaborate! Prior to October, we were emailed our merit increases by our new people manager (who is NOT a people manager, but strictly only cares about numbers) and were told they would go into effect 10/1. Around rolls 10/1 and the first paycheck that should be reflecting said merit increase we were sent; we all noticed our paychecks were not reflecting even remotely close to the amount we were promised, and after multiple people escalated their concerns, we were told it’s being handled by HR and we’d be informed when more information was available. Fast forward four weeks from our escalation, and no information regarding the discrepancy was provided, until one employee spoke up in a meeting to our TAM/ROC leader in which we received the talking points which were very studied and got an “ooops, we messed up”. Our merits were duplicated, so instead of the amount we were told, we would be receiving half of that amount! No admittance of wrong doing or apologies were given, just the generic, ‘we know this isn’t the results you all wanted but it is what it is”.
Yet again, fast forward to this week, where we are now being informed additionally farmed employees from another country will be piloted and we’re to train them and provide candid feedback about the progress and process. I’m sick of it, and sick to my stomach with not knowing when my last night clocking out will be my LAST time clocking out with this company that continues to circle the drain!
