I’ve ready different articles that I think may be right on money. Basically, with the advent of AI , the first round of jobs that will be affected is HR. From what’s being tested, AI has a really high success and accuracy rate on performing those functions from answering questions, form processing, scheduling meetings, word\excel functions, records correlation,job analysis, performance management etc….
Conceptually, get rid of HR except for a skeleton crew and let AI fill in the gaps.
There are many companies that seem to be going this route in 2024 to test the waters. Once vetted and improvements are made, I can see it really taking off.
