All non-agreement should use their short-term disability benefits for stress. Why not get 5-6 months of paid time off?

Yes, you could draw disability benefits while out on stress…. You won’t OFFICIALLY be furloughed until you return from disability would stretch out your medical benefits longer than the 4 mos you get after being furloughed.So example, If you go now and comeback in say March, you’ll get furloughed when you return but you’ll get 4 more mos of benefits plus another 6 to 8 mos of unemployment benefits depending on how long you’ve been with the company
