As far as we know US and APJ Industry Consultants are still alive. In EMEA, the buzz is : they’ve all been eliminated. Really ? Even in Banking or Telco where TD survive ? Either something went awful with EMEA ICs org or TD has decided to stop hunting and focus exclusively on farming in that region. It would be possible but risky move : very soon, cash cows customers will run away from the stable; so difficult to resist to AWS, Azure and GCP appetizing hay.

But JA reckons we don't need IC's in Australia anyway because you know he is Texan and he is bringing his experience down under to transform the organisation. So far he has pretty much failed on all fronts. I like many here in the Sydney team know he is just RP's servant. Started with IC's but won't end at IC's with half the sales team due to exit over the next few months
As part of the RIF crew - I was informed they have the option to reapply for the 'new roles'. Up to 30 people for under 20 positions. not 110% sure, but some will be classed at AI IE's and carry a sales quota.
All ICs under DS (including DS) in US have been axed. They are restructuring under NW, ICs and SASs into a handful of new roles. No exit interviews, so they don’t seem to think they are doing anything wrong or could learn from any of these individuals. JA is just covering for his own incompetence and TC is just allowing it since he’s focused on cashing in.
