Unfortunately, due to the fluidity of potential closing dates, I am unable to know definitively when I will get back to work.

Welp. So much for my "this always happens" reply.

You cannot trust anything that is shared as 'official' anymore because AVGO and VMW leadership are both focused on 'damage control' regarding what comes next.

I'm prepared for the worst, and you should be as well. Keep your self-respect, if you can.

In light of the pending Broadcom acquisition, all Stock Administration functions have been paused at this time. This includes the release of RSUs scheduled to vest on November 1, 2023. Depending on when the acquisition closes, the shares subject to these RSUs may or may not be released prior to closing. Unfortunately, due to the fluidity of potential closing dates, we are unable to know definitively when the shares will be released.

Yeah man, it isn't surprising at all. Like watching water boil. It feels like it takes longer the more you watch it. It's a drag, I know.

Takes a couple of days to be released. This happens every single time.

please don't spread FUD. These are legal obligations that VMW and Broadcom do follow. Wait till the market opens and things are processed. So far there has been no known incident where they do not grant legally binding RSUs (in case you always could sue them and will win in any court).

FWIW is my experience that are generally released after market on vest date, sometimes overnight before the following day.
