"If the intention of yesterday's statement was to instill confidence in the deal outcome, then it has apparently had the inverse effect. "We're somewhat clueless" is what it says."
Exactly my thoughts. Raises more questions, about the caliber of leader, than it answers about the ongoing plan to close the deal. Makes it seem like it's based on pure hope.
The transaction will close soon but was expected to close October 30th but didn't because of beaucratic reasons but broadcom has all necessary approvals. Wake up people, no closure without China Approval.

If Wall Street analysts seem confused by the prepared statement, so should employees.
What is the timeframe for soon? A day, a week, more than a week?
Was the prepared statement unintentionally vague, or purposely unclear?
If the intention of yesterday's statement was to instill confidence in the deal outcome, then it has apparently had the inverse effect. "We're somewhat clueless" is what it says.
