Flawed strategy the cause of annual riffs at TDC

The strategy of focusing on your competitors and cloud first rather than building on strengths and what customers actually need is the cause of annual resource actions at TDC.

ELT, regional leadership and middle management are the real reason for the year on year decline. It needs a complete refresh so that they don’t persistently hit icebergs as they have been doing for the past few years.

Why call them ELT, when there's no L to be found and the strategy is to line their pockets?

Maybe all the DEI / Diversity hires will save Teradata. ;-)

You know the ones hired over the last couple of years that still can't figure out how their keyboard works.

Teradata lacks leadership. What we have are managers who simply follow orders from above. Those above them think they are leaders simply by their lofty title. Unfortunately nothing could be further from the truth. We lack that person who inspires others to want to give it their all, an individual that people look up to and say "I love working for you".

The previous CRO was probably the most inspiring ELT we've had in a long time. Now we are lumped with an ELT organisation of grifters who are simply there to steer the ship towards the iceberg

The ELT/VPs/directors are rotten at the core.

TINO-man? Is that you?

Bad strategy comes from incompetent management. The ELT/VPs/directors are rotten at the core. No one trust or respect them to do the real work that needs to be done to succeed. When you have this toxic work environment, everyone just say yes to everything to keep their the clueless leaders happy while wrecking the company.

ELT needs to lay themselves off to maybe turn this place around.

How can our strategy possibly be flawed? NC spent $40m with McK, it must be world class. I wonder if they do refunds?
