Just wondering if anyone got a transitional offer that has you working for some period of time beyond the merger date, but also stops short of a FT offer. Are the terms for the transitional offer just regular comp until the end of service with severance to follow? Or is there some bonus that goes along with it?

Bonus is 50% for the period of duration called out on the contract. So for 12 mo transition you get paid additional 6 months at the end as a lump sum. You get the same benefits as a FT employee. Severance is 4 months base in the US plus years of service.
