Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Bengaluru Tech Center is D Tier?

I heard a post say this in this forum. What is your rating?

A being the highest and F as total fail.

The ones in the U.S. from that country are mostly brown nose champions.

OMG is BTC still open? I though Darren wanted to add value for the shareholders. And what is wonderwoman KM doing? She should be shutting down that shlthole like right now. They are wasting a ton of the shareholders money.

I just endured another week of interactions with abysmal IT support. Their talent for turning simple tasks into epic ordeals is unmatched. I want to give a special thanks to the C-suite, whose devotion to cost-cutting has ensured daily descent into this particular circle of tech support he-l.

@OP they are all LITERALLY and figuratively speaking "brown nose champions!"

When it comes to the future employment opportunities in the U.S. we should feel sorry for America's young people. In the past 3 decades our "leaders" in both business & politics have sold us out for their personal agendas.

As America declines the rest of the world will keep moving up. So, IMHO it won't matter if it's the brown nose champions from India or elsewhere....................we are royally SKREWED

1thp+1pmVDlaX the truth of the matter is this is creating a hatred that will build and build until Americans will detest the entire LOW COST **** countries! India may be at the top of the list. This is contributing to the division within United States and against other countries! Driven by greed no matter what the cost! Oh wait! That is your intent too based on your comments you are a good little garbage spreader.

If performance ranking was on an even scale across EM, the BTC employees would all be NSI.

Someone has their thumb on the scale if anyone at BTC has RG above 50.

The thing to remember is that although India is a low cost country, EM does not tolerate pay or benefits that are in any way above the average, there as well as anywhere else, not to mention that often their “benchmarking” is simply faked.
So EM is going for cheap even in a cheap country. Does anybody imagine that this will get good people?

That was me. After having to deal with BTC for two simple IT requests this week, I've decided to revise the grade down to 'F'.

I guarantee you that a top quintile BTC employee is equal to an RG30 or lower USA employee.
I have seen such slanted ranking and even had HR and management admit that the scale is different.

Scale is different, pay is different, expectations are different, and results are different.

It will be an eye opener when there is a tragic event in design or operation that can be traced back to BTC ignorance.

The people at the BTC are fine. The problem is our id--t management and their inability to run anything. Not to mention a really bad XOM work process combined with almost no time overlap.

We are also too cheap to pay enough to keep the decent ones.

FAIL ON ALL LEVELS

Most are early career employees, were you top notch when you stepped in the door? No you were not. Some good, sone less so.

My takeaway is that you’re an id--t if you blame them for this situation. BLAME THE AMERICANS WHO ARE SENDING YOUR JOBS THERE. And for god sakes understand who those people vote for and what their ideology is. Hint: it’s not socialist communist Saul Alinsky CCP or whatever else OAN tells you.

OP, it's a solid F-. They make so many mistakes that I have to redo all their work. And even if you explain it to them they still don't understand why it's wrong and they argue with you. Bad bad place all around. Bad behavioral skills bad technical skills. Just totally unacceptable place. Sorry but it's the truth.

The good are decent. But only about 5% are decent.

The other 95% are poor, require complete oversight and direction, and are error prone in my experience.

The ones I have met in the Permian are all top notch. Many of them overcame huge challenges to get where they are today. You probably should get to know some of these humans before you dehumanize them and turn them into scary monsters who are out to get you.
