It's funny but also reality even though people don't express that explicitly. We are in a time people of both sides without knowing each other but having hostility to each other. Pathetic human...

It would be more funny if he gets approval tomorrow then you and your comment would look stupid
Right now, the only two people looking stupid are.... wait for it...
(1) HT for basically having failed to close the deal by the end of their fiscal year... despite having assured everybody up to the last minute that he would. Even if he ends up getting the acquisition done, a lot of people simply won't trust him.
(2) RR for simply parroting what he's been told to say. He has no credibility left. Why send an email on Friday that implies that they are still on track for 10/30 when he knew.... from his own team... that they need at least 2 days to close after all approvals are done. Why send something like that? Better not say anything at all.
