$VMW will drop down to around $60 to $70. $AVGO will drop immediately to around $400 - $450.

This will be the investor loss of confidence sudden drop.

No at the moment the P/E is around 45 not 60.... but yes it can possibly also drop even 50%.

If you sold VMW at the recent peak of $176-177, then congrats. That was an anomaly.

Recent news indicates that peak sell price won't be seen again.

Unfortunately this also means that if the deal will fail and it will drop to 60/70$ "the real value" of the company is around 30B of capitalization now. So probably in the future can be buy very cheaply than Broadcom is now offering (if everyone will have the courage to go through a similar process again)

Deal hasn’t fallen I only see buncha VMware employees whining like babies hoping the deal falls. VMware stock price is staying flat and Avgo is up. 🤣

The stock is currently in play by short sellers, so expect it to toggle up and down daily for the foreseeable future.

However, news from China, or from the AVGO board, would change the status quo.

50c per share until the horrendous management who ruined the company are gone. Aweful inbreds in VMware at the moment in management.

LOL! But in what world are you living in this forum?

Did you have a look to the financial situation of the company?

At the moment VMW at 142$ is traded at a P/E of 60!!!!

If the deal fails it will go straight to 60/70$ not even to 100/110 like people here are saying.

Months before the deal VMW was traded at a P/E of 30 and everyone was still optimistic about the Company.

No way VMware can have a P/E above 20 after all of this (and we need to be very optimistic)
