Utility man doing Carmen work?

How many locations can confirm they are furloughing Carmen and replacing with utility?

What does the rant about retirement and leaving if you're unhappy have anything to do with the post? Sounds like a manager that tucks their shirt in and pulls their pants up to their arm pits and says yes to everything. We all know this beta passive su-k up for survival tactic type. Like a neon sign.

If you think that you 'lose' your retirement if you leave the RR, you might need to do some research. Honestly, the only things that happens are your spouse loses survivor benefits and you can't draw until you are 67. 62 if you are willing to take the penalty. If you are unhappy, leave.

If many of us here could take our retirement investment to another non RR job we'd be gone... If you've got too many years invested they're 'golden handcuffs' and they're less 'golden' by the day.

Probably all locations they will end up getting rid of all mechanical departments. And work the sh-t out of transportation. This use to be a career now it’s just a job. People are so depressed working here. Not because of the work we all don’t mind the work. It’s because we all get threatened with our jobs every year. I hear the retirement is good. Well I’ll tell you what it’s not. Not when you can’t get to retirement.
