Miserable if you ask me, have been through two large scale acquisitions, and nothing compares to this abysmal and dismal process. This should be a playbook of how not to do an acquisition. The employees emotions should have been taken into consideration and obviously not. Resembles more of a typical "you_know_what" sweatshop attitude. I did not get a letter of offer, and I am now glad I did not, and have been spared to make a decision.

If I was a VMware customer, I'd be nervous as well. Hock generally cuts all the support. That's what happened in Symantec. All the customers left. Hock is a clusterfu-k.

This is interesting. Another tech industry analyst shares VMW customer concerns after Gartner and IDC say they're waiting for Monday's outcome to offer new guidance to their customers. The installed base is likely to see some churn, no matter Monday's outcome.
