What is Broadcom severance? What's difference between Broadcom's and VMWARE's? Still 2 month + 1 week * service?
I got the letter and accepted. I am wondering what will I get if I let go in next April like people are talking about.

Stop wondering. You have a job - get on with it.
Wait I thought your tenure at vmw is considered moving forward and continued and not reset? Or was this a lie?
Warn is triggered which is a MANDATORY 60 days on payroll.
Then you get 2 months plus 1 wpy.
Bc and vmware will pay this amount if the layoffs meet trigger the WARN law
Tenure is the only variable.
At 12 months in BC will honor your severance tenure for vmware but beyond it will be your bc tenure only so getting laid off year 2 you could make way less $$ if you have long tenure in vmw
I declined the offer in place for severance, I’m waiting to hear back. Not a word so far. I wish they told shared with us more clearly. I’m expecting to hear by Monday,
Our leadership said I will lose access on Monday so I’m just waiting for communication on my personal email account
IIRC, broadcom will honor vmware severance policy one year after deal close.
2 months plus 1 week per year for US, for transition you get 4 months plus a week per year
