I am a staff1. no 20%+ base cut almost doubles the stock value in 4 years.
base is permanent after 4 years, no stock price risk. it also impacts layoff package, important since we are in high risk in coming years. good for me when i jump to another boat.
would prefer to take less risk and am happy about what i get.

How many RSUs are staff 2 getting to make up for the 20% drop?
20%+ for staff 2 as well.
Base cuts only happen to senior staff, not staff 1 or staff 2.

good point, at least more positive than the posts where staff 1 whining on stock and staff 2 whining on base cut.
