Has anyone read the pamphlet about our new insurance options for 2024??? As if this company couldn’t get any worse they are at least consistent in finding additional ways to sc--w over the employees!!! Please pay attention to the changes for your own wellbeing. Walgreens certainly doesn’t care about the physical or financial health of its employees!!!

I am anxious to see if Walgreens costs to the plan are going down and they pushing more of the costs on the team member and family members
In previous years, I recall that we could see the financial impact (costs) of the various plans before the actual start of Open Enrollment (11/1/23).
I find it interesting that we can't see that in advance this time around.
You are so right. There is a reason that virtual plan is being pushed so hard!
It would really su-k to have to see a doctor virtually just to be told that you need to go into the clinic. That's two scheduled appointments you have to make and you'll end up delaying service.
I understand having the option of seeing a doctor virtually but that plan forces you to see a doctor virtually before you can see one in person (emergency situations are excluded but even those, I'm sure there is a hoop or two to jump through).
They also say they "seamlessly" hand you off from the virtual doctor to the real doctor but you know that isn't the case. Scheduling appointments from one platform to the next is not seamless.

I know one thing they certainly want employees to sign up for this new BCBS Virtual plan someone is getting a kickback from that stupid plan as much as that is getting pushed by text and emails
