DG got a lot of undeserved hatred. He did a great job cleaning up the mess from his prior administrations and delivered impressive results to shareholders. We just need more layoffs, that's it.
BOD needs to go as well. They enabled this cancer of a CEO.
If this deal doesn't go through, the BoD knows he needs to go especially with Elliott and Apollo on the board. It's the only thing he's been paying attention to for 2 years. Billions of enterprise value destroyed on his watch, this was going to be his crowning achievement and he couldn't even do that. He's already proven he can't actually run the company or bring people on board who can. What a debacle. We can recover but the very first thing that will have to happen is David and his cronies will have to leave.
