From a friend on marketing side there are more layoffs in nov coming. Not sure this company can afford to pay decadences at this point but people are leaving in the masses now including procurement. Fu-k this company I can’t wait for my offer on a new job to come so I can give short notice and get the he-l out. Good luck everyone.

Wish someone would fire/remove one of our IS/SL. She works off the clock, she gets into screaming matches with customers. She spends most of her work time running her mouth. She talks about everyone behind their backs. Store manager knows but has been friends with this woman for years. Her screaming matches with customers could end up in a bad way. The people they hire are just about useless. Our store is a mess..
The mandate for RTO didn’t take into account anyone hired/labeled as a remote worker (which is included in the 1K “extra” workforce not supported by in person). But I echo the question if there is insight on what areas are impacted?
Anyone have more info on potential areas impacted? I am assuming this will be at least 1K people based on return to office mandate.
I suspect there is some truth to this happening before 11/30 (end of Q1). That way they can take the severance payouts as a Q1 impairment charge.
Yes somehow last time warn was after the official announcement was made to employees. This time it seems to be coming prior to November 28 return to office but absolutely no details except words of massive reorganizations and contractor layoffs. Anyone have more specific details at all?
Is your source reliable?
Hearing the same (Nov. layoffs at HQ) and bigger numbers then last time. IL WARN notice went up same day when this happened before, no early warning there.
It might be a smaller # because there isn’t anything on the IL WARN site
The original rumor was sr manager and up would be targeted, does anyone know if that is still the plan? And if it will be as many as last round…..?
Corporate for sure apparently but others I’m not sure.
layoffs at corporate, field, or stores?
