In the near future, all VMware employees will receive access to Broadcom’s migration portal, where you can preview information that will help you after the transaction close date.

If that is not indicative that this thing is not closing on the 30th I don’t know what is. They could have set this sh-t up a month ago if they wanted to be decent human beings and giving folks info and what to expect. But they didn’t.

You have to ask yourself why.
Because it will be delayed of course

Because it literally impacts our stock prices. Investors are glued to this page waiting for some juicy tidbit to tell them to buy or sell.

Why are people concerned about protecting this company’s confidential information given the way employees are being treated during this process?

They are not decent human beings, they are sociopaths. You can tell that by their responses on here rubbing things in peoples faces. Being terminated is a kindness and people will see this in time when they realise what BC will do to VMware.

I am not following you - why does that imply a deal delay? A migration portal seems perfectly in line with a 10/30 close, set up just in time to help employees over the transition.
