Will we beat or miss? Will we announce more layoffs?

assessing drive and employee declines with what context?
Uhh, note to @3cvt+1pi203ky, the number of drives shipped over that same period is down 500%, and shows no sign of stopping. Every year we ship fewer drives. Welcome to the hard drive business.
WD is splitting into 2 companies
Do you see a trend?
Number of employees at WD:
2012: 103 000
2022: 65 000
2023 53 000

Same trend for our Seagate friends!
Last Friday I came to talk to my boss about our project. At firts he didn't notice I was there, I saw him working in his resume. Maybe he knows something
When will the layoff be announced? At least two months on the payroll afterwards?
@2evg+1pi203ky Must be hasta la V***A.
Meaning, good bye.
expect revenue and eps to be in line with estimates, that cloud titan inventory digestion is lingering a little longer as they continue to focus on efficiency and allocate CSP to AI infrastructure, and chatter about the strength of our portfolio and products
The November layoff has a code name.
It begins with the letter V and ends with the letter a (no it is not va---a)
Layoffs are a definite. Will be losses. Eps will stink. Layoffs will not be shared on call. DG is shady and plays games on Layoffs and notifying. I would live to be a fly on wall at next BOD.
it will be huge loss on flash side. guess eps will be $2 loss or more.
That one guy who said about layoffs in November also mentioned another detail that made me trust him/her because I heard the same detail from a VP. I'm not going to mention what that detail is because there were only a few people in that meeting with the VP.
Of course there is going to be layoffs. Otherwise how will DG get his 30 Million.
We will beat earnings. We will not announce layoffs. But mid November there’s going to be layoffs anyway.
