Anyone else hearing anything about a big layoff planned for next week?

MC was good guy and didn't deserve to be let go. JL is naive to think a different leader can win digital game against Amazon with no new strategic direction.
The Chief Digital Officer MC has departed. If you recall he was the one who on an Associate Forum last year referred to Amazon as those "B@stards in Seattle" and said "I just want to f--kin win!"
The AVPs and SLT didn’t realize how resilient
this group of B2Bs is right now. They aren’t gonna quit in this atrocious economy. These people work hard and have lifestyles and family’s to support so of course they are going to work hard and make it work. SBA AVP and up are still so out of touch with what us hard working sellers are about. “You don’t like it, quit”. BS!!! We are going to keep working hard to feed our family’s, put our kids through school, or make a career. “I thought more people would quit”. Guess what Chachi, that didn’t happen. How about support the incredible people that do what they are told….

I wouldn't be surprised at all. This happens around this time every year to make the numbers look descent especially since number are WAY down. There will probably be two rounds. One very soon and another one right before Thanksgiving. It will most likely be the sales division especially those that are making good money so that they do not have to continue paying them.
Wouldn't doubt it. It's the end of the quarter and numbers are down. It will be November next week and that is usually when the axe falls.
