Manager here, I got transitional offer the through 09/27/24.
My team seems to be 60% FT offers/40% transitional offers
What organization are you in where are the directors and managers got offers but not the individual contributors. I know for one my manager is staying silent on his offer or no offer so cruel. Perfect example of American capitalism at work everyone is out for themselves.
Manager here, product org. No offer.
Oh well... I hope the severance is worth it.
I fear I will be given a transition role, from which I will have to resign and not receive a severance. The only way forward is to crack some interviews for me.

If Broadcom is keeping the current managers it sounds like it has not yet figured out all of the people who have ruined VMware over the past few years. Well one thing is for certain I guess: this is just the first in a number of layoff cycles to get to the center of Hock's vTootsie Pop!
Not sure but after the way they treated their employees through lack of transparency, in a just world, they should all lose their jobs.
