A few peers on my team have gotten offers, I have yet to get any email. Does that mean I will get the lay off notice next week? Or are more offers still being rolled out??

My core team has 6. 2 of us got offers. I now report to a (vmw) director. I can see entire reporting structures disappearing.
Offers in sales for the six countries where they're allowed pre close have gone out. Outside of those you're stuck waiting due to the way labor laws are structured.
Tanzu sales offers went out yesterday am, It feels as if that's it, No hard evidence, but if you are not on the offer list, its most likely either transition or severance. That's all the makes logical sense. A gut punch for some, relief for others, there definitely should be a better way to treat people, Many are looking forward to looking back on all of this. I am seeing the same thing in my space. ~40% termination. Leadership threw out at a 15% number that was expected. Not even close.
There are still some items in play, like people choosing to take the severance which could open up some slots but since they are demoting leadership into IC roles and higher leadership being demoted into their front line leadership roles there might not be any open slots from severance when this shakes out. Chances are, if you did not get an offer from the round that flew out to all the sales team the other morning, you will be offered the severance. I am hearing somewhere around ~40% did not get offers. Small dataset was used for the number though so it might be +/-5%-10% difference. But this is only my opinion with lots of unknowns. But if I were one that did not receive an offer, I would consider me to be gone. Time to move on and start looking if you have not already done this.

Nothing has gone out today, I guess because of the China mess.:-(

My entire team (sales) received offers yesterday at 6am CST. Haven't heard of more offers going out today.
