Thread regarding VMware layoffs

Friday - last working day

For those being laid off, Friday may be your last chance to access your work laptop or the corporate network. I have heard access will be lost early on Monday.

OP is trolling.

Can't play the "I know who will get letters on Monday" card anymore, so they found a new game.

No one has gotten laid off or severance, nor will they this week.

Don't wait for your Termination letter, save all the VMW things you want to keep.

Do it now, before your access is cut off. VMW Layoffs will happen, regardless of AVGO.

Except for hock the kocks elephant in the room says that won't happen.

Layoffs don't depend on acquisition. The reality is VMware is massively bloated as it is so if there is a letter with your name on it - it will be still - with or without China.

It will depend on your region, legally can't remove access in most EMEA countries during the notice period.

It may or may not be. I think you know when you know - that's my educated guess.
