Hello -- to those Quad Graphics Inc employees impacted by the layoffs currently scheduled to happen at the locations in Effingham, IL (1200 W Niccum Ave and 420 Industrial Ave), this is a brief message to inform you of the support structures that are in place to assist you in finding your next career or helping find some stability during a tumultuous time.
As a result of being notified of the plant closures, you may be eligible for no-cost career and re-employment services provided through the Dislocated Worker Program operated by C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation, your Local Workforce Innovation Area (LWIA 23) WIOA provider.
Workforce development specialists from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Illinois Department of Employment Security and other local partners are working to coordinate rapid response workshops for impacted employees to explain the benefits and resources available to them as a result of job dislocation. More info on these workshops will be conveyed to the impacted workers through the employer once they are organized.
