I’ve notice a few posts have been deleted that had names of management in them. I wasn’t let go but I find it very interesting that the same person sat in our meeting today and said it doesn’t bother her if we go online and talk bad about her through her FAKE tears. Who are you crying about exactly? Honey it’s every man for themselves and we can only hope YOU’RE next!

WARN act does in fact include remote workers. Seriously someone must know someone who is an attorney and would do a class action lawsuit!!!

@2sbi+1pfCESOG Answer us this, do you read well? Because where in any of this do you see entitlement? Is it entitlement to want to be told the truth? Is it entitlement to want someone to speak to you as a human being while being laid off? Is it entitlement to be upset that many many people were blindsided? Where is this entitlement you speak of? The people were lied to! They were gaslighted, they were laid off without warning AFTER being told their job was secured. If this godda-n company didn’t come out every 30 fu--ing seconds telling us how great they’re doing, how business is booming and how everyone is so valued, how much money they made to turn the fu-k around and say JUST FU--ING KIDDING YOURE ALL GONE then this thread wouldn’t be happening.

Everyone is sad, confused, mad, defeated! Do we know companies lay people off? YES we aren’t id--ts!! But is there a way to do it humanly? ALSO YES! They fu---d up. They fu---d up like many others. But it’s people like you that condone this bullsh-t and make it possible for companies to continue to get away with sh-t like this.

And you’re wrong. They do owe everyone something! They owe an apology, they owe them answers to their questions, they owe them THEIR MONEY and they own them decency and RESPECT!

Seems to me you’re one of these top corporate money hungry never peaked in highschool moral-less sorry excuse for a human type. You know damn well you are unhappy with your life and who you are. Deny it all you want, I know I’m right. Wish you nothing but the best!

Medsol laid off approximately 400 internal staff members across sales, onboarding, compliance, audit, and a few senior leadership positions. They claimed to current employees that they treated folks with kindness and respect, gave them adequate severance packages, and future job placements. That is all a lie! They sent a video of the CEO who appeared to be slurring his words, informed the company that it was related to overstaffing and market instability. Those of us laid off received a zoom link with a senior leader and member of HR. They coldly read off a script and said that this is the last day, no details of the severance package would be discussed other than the number of weeks and dollar amount. They did not allow for questions and hung up on you after a couple minutes from the start of the call. Many people only received 2 weeks severance. The job placement service is a joke! I scheduled a meeting to talk about job placement within 1 hour of receiving the email, and the soonest appointment is on 11/7!! Who can wait that long to start the job hunt? FYI that is how they got through the WARN act violation, that and the fact that they employees have to be from a single location and everyone is 100% remote! They are corrupt! Telling people their position was eliminated and then filled the next day! Directors were asking for lists of “low hanging fruit” about a month ago when Craig and his cronies were on an extravagant trip to CA with about 50 MedSouless winners. They probably spent $10k a piece on that trip! Not to mention their annual award ceremony where they booked out the entire Baxter arena and the Hilton and two other luxury hotels for the trip! They had managers flown out and put up in luxury suites! Craig got a $1million bonus last year!! But don’t share pics on social media because we don’t want out investors or clients knowing how much we are making!! It’s such a joke! They absolutely could have planned better financially, and avoid treating valued employees like nothing more than a number. I would stay far away from this place! Hearing the real reason the layoff wasn’t from the pandemic ending or the underperformance of the company, or the economy! It’s because the settled a $10 million lawsuit where they violated labor laws and had to pay out this year. I also hear that their books haven’t been correctly balanced in 5 years. They lie to the joint commission about properly credentialing healthcare professionals. They lie to their employees about being a team.
The people coming in and talking cr-p, good luck and congrats being quite hired!! That’s what they do, put you in a position to do more for nothing while the execs are living like kings. FYI you are NOT safe, this is NOT the last layoff, and you do NOT matter to them!

Came to this post from a link left on a news story in comments section out of curiosity. From an outsider and reading some of these comments speaks volumes about some characteristics of you posters. Sound like a bunch of entitled spoiled children. Sounds like this may have been a first job for you all. You are mad and hurt but posting anonymously on social media bashing a business because they laid you off. Do you realize the economy is slowing crashing in America? Maybe pick yourself up from your tantrums, this will not get your jobs back and just may tarnish you or anyone’s chances of a next job due to this thread and how you all are acting I surely would think twice about hiring an ex employee from this business. Cancel culture at its finest here. Time to put your big kids pants on ladies and gentlemen and face the fact welcome to the real world! No one owes you anything, PERIOD!

Is being debilitatingly ugly on the inside AND out like a prerequisite for the position of the crew or, do they ask you to immediately pluck your eyebrows 10 feet a part and lose every ounce of morals after the fact? Come on. It’s anonymous, you can tell us 🥰

@2uau+1pfCESOG "If the company would have given warning you would have worked at getting another job instead of the company for which you worked"

Do you realize that's a win-win? People leave of their own accord, no unemployment claims, no severance discussions, no bad optics on social media/press.

Unlike Medical Solutions, I operate within my means, so thank you very much, I'm all good. I was already interviewing to leave, increased my hours at my side job, and now I got an extra few grand. Not my first rodeo, hopefully you're as prepared when things don't go your way, and your precious company marks you off their books.

@2yiq+1pfCESOG bootlicker and shill...that's rich. If the company would have given warning you would have worked at getting another job instead of the company for which you worked. Grow up. You were paid for your work. Get on your way and spread your poison elsewhere.

Anyone defending the company is a shill and a bootlicker. I had no trust in them whatsoever having been laid off before, but it would've been nice to have another job already instead of a random surprise after constant assurances layoffs wouldn't be used.

At the end of the day, the worst thing that happens to Medical Solutions is it's dissolved or bought out, but it's always the people who will suffer. Medical Solutions is owned by an investment company so I knew the dollar means all to them, but a more prudently managed, conservative company would've known not to hire hundreds of people when it was clear the pandemic was passing. But their idiocy is corrected by cutting bonuses, OT, and laying off a bunch of people.

@2pff+1pfCESOG I don't think we were lied to at all. I think the leaders thought we could turn things around and we couldn't. I appreciate the time I had there and am ready to move on. Life happens.

@2uou+1pfCESOG, the reason there is so much anger is how the situation was handled. Med Sol got us all to trust them, to believe what they said. And then to find out that they knew there would be layoffs, and there was no warning, the anger is justified. The severance pay was a joke, and finding a job before the holidays is going to be nigh impossible. People have the right to their feelings, and this forum is for that. To vent and to let others know what is going on as all the information was kept on the DL. Lying about the situation only made it all worse. They could have handled this a lot better especially if they had given warning. But just a few months ago, they told us we were good. The company was doing good. But now we feel like we were lied to. I don't know about you, but that hurts. When you dedicate yourself to a job and a company, and you give them everything you have and you love what you do...the lies are what causes the betrayal to feel a thousand times worse. Have some compassion. Our feelings are valid.

Boy oh boy I wasn’t laid off but I was moved to another team and when I say the morale su-ks! New manager is passive aggressive and not welcoming at all! I now will have to do way more work with the same pay! I went from loving my job to hating it! Currently applying for other jobs I refused to be overworked and stressed before the holidays ! Life is too short to stay somewhere you are not happy! Medsol is not the company it used to be!

Many of you will not agree with me but I’m going to speak on this anyways.
It su-ks to be laid off (especially before holidays) and how they did it. But this is a company and no one is ever safe in any company. We all like to think that we are the best they will ever have and we are irreplaceable but we are all replaceable. Ask yourself…if this was your company and funds were low, would you still employ alot of people? Yes you might due the lay offs better (personable) but you would still do the lay offs. As far as how they went about telling us that we are being laid off, was disheartening but again…it’s a company and they had to let go of so many people in one day so they just made it “general”.
I have been part of other companies that have laid off their employees and the employees never gotten even a penny when they were let go. I know two weeks worth of pay isn’t anything but compared to some companies, this is better than nothing.
I have enjoyed working for MedSol and yes I’m hurt that I’m laid off but I still have nothing bad to say about them because while I was with them, they treated me well.
Time to get that resume updated and look for a new home. Stay positive everyone, we will find our next job and this will all be in the past.

From the ones I’ve talked to the list was specific to their dept (i.e. onboarding, client success, etc.), but it was only the job title and their age. No names were listed.

I was hired 2 years ago when the company was experiencing tremendous growth from the pandemic. I was told by a long time friend in the business that he thought the growth was not sustainable and working from home is a bad way to learn the business. He was right. It boils down to an incompetent executive team as to why they had to fire 300 ppl

This is insane. I was terminated awhile ago just because I didn’t want to be buddy buddy with my manager, didn’t stroke their ego and were one of their yes minions. I was put on an IAP. They did everything in their power to make sure I didn’t get off. No matter how much I put my pride to the side, kept my mouth shut and tried to stay off the radar. The people I started with have left before this happen. I’m so glad they did. I’m glad I was terminated because I don’t know what I’d be doing right now if I was never fired.

To those who were let go, I am so so sorry. Horrible timing to say the least. Those with families and children. And those that are just trying to stay afloat.

Those the didn’t let go, please look at this as how MedSol really thinks of you guys. I was once under the impression that I was apart of a family and this company truly cared. Once I moved teams I started seeing true colors. Please see them now. I get you can’t get up and quit but be mindful and have a plan. You never know when you will be next.

Are managers not allowed to speak to the employees that have been let go? I haven’t heard a single thing from the manager I was under about me being let go, it’s like it didn’t even happen. Some of my teammates have kindly reached out to me which helps with the feeling that I wasn’t just a number.

WOW…..what a total cluster…….shame on you Craig and the other powers that be; you’re not that great an actor after all. Mr Meiers Neighborhood. Really? I hope the actual owners/investors that have put their $$ into this mess can save a little of their investment and self respect in this mess and see what is actually happening. It’s a total good ole Boys/Girls Club. What a shame/sham for the investors. We all feel bad for those left behind having them having to take on double duty for those who have been laid off. Most employees left behind are already looking for new employers so they are not dumped in the next planned layoff. We all bought into the big lie and should have known it was too good to be true. So disappointing and feeling like a sap. Also feeling sorry for the Med Soul-less owners.

@2tzy+1pfCESOG - as one laid off on the Aureus side, my experience was the same as everyone else's. Had a meeting request from two people I didn't know shortly after Craig's email came out. I sent my manager a message saying I was panicking and was worried. She replied shortly after saying she had been trying to call her manager but was unable to. We weren't able to connect before my "Touch Base" meeting, which was a whole 6 minutes long. Cold, disheartening, and I was flat out told, "We will not be answering questions on this meeting". Then they asked, "Do you have equipment to return?" I wanted to get sarcastic at that point, but was too busy crying. I know we shouldn't "shoot the messengers" but they had no emotion, no concern for well-being, no treatment with "dignity and respect" like they are claiming they so generously and kindly provided. One read from the script, the other said nothing at all.

I called my manager right after and she was shocked. I think she was about to cry, and I think I was the first on my team. I was sobbing. I didn't know what I was supposed to do, if I was allowed to say goodbye to my friends, etc.

It was one the most awful things I have ever experienced. "They" say that layoffs aren't supposed to be personal, but this felt personal and dehumanizing all at the same time.

Those that were in finance fields, billing, payroll etc, you can thank Lori Kudlak for being canned. I was told today she was the one that decided who stayed and who got laid off. Surprise surprise 🙄 If you didn’t originate from C&A and didn’t kiss her a-s every chance you got, you were nothing to her. Spare change at the bottom of her purse.

Someone post the list of names or some of the videos people are mentioning on Reddit or imgur or somewhere else. Everything is very secretive and no one who didn't get laid off truly understands how this went down. People want to know exactly how their coworkers were treated. And the list didn't go out to those not laid off so everyone is searching for their friends or coworkers with no real confirmation. Are they just out today or were they part of the layoff?

Yesterday! Was a huge shocker! I was one of the many that got Laid Off! Performace based my a-s!! With hitting numbers above 97%, no pulls, pushes and always going out of my way to help in every way this is a Thank you from Med Sol! They truly failed as a company! Reading of a script to tell your employeer they are laid off is bull**** !! I truly enjoyed and talked high about Med Sol but all I can say is this is embrassing, nasty and distrubing how this all was handled. Its an average 7 weeks to find a job now a days and they gave 2-3 weeks of saverrance pay! Med Sol you do not care for your employees and you are ready to hurt the current employees!!

I’m curious to the excuses given as to how the termed employees were chosen? What was the actual reasoning if any? Have any of the current employees heard anything regarding this? That’s been the most unsettling part to me bc from what I hear, it’s older employees that might have had a higher salary, employees that k* a in meetings and in the “anonymous” questionnaires emailed to staff, and of course employees who have never had any type of mistreatment and attempted to seek help from higher ups. I’d love to know what they’re telling everyone the reason was.

They all had the chance to amend some mindsets today. They had the chance to show us they were not monsters, but they failed terribly.

Brought into a huge meeting where Kim visibly read off a document to everyone. She didn’t try and make these words her own, she read what they told her to say. She didn’t look at us, didn’t answer questions, didn’t care. Her and her posse looking down at all the people left as they sit pretty making hand over fist in a position they don’t deserve. All while people are out here wondering how they’re going to put food on the table with the pennies they so graciously gave them. Crushed thinking how they will be able to give their children a Christmas, pay for piano lessons, the field trip next week, the mortgage!
She was cold and heartless.

She advised everyone not to believe everything we read on social media. She stated That all people let go were treated kindly, that your questions were answered, that they were completely transparent with all of you and you were taken care of with your severance. ANYONE who knows anyone who was let go, knows better than this! With the choices she had where she could tell the truth or at least be a human or lie, she chose to lie….. and no one stopped it or objected. I guess they forgot people have access to cameras to record the truth.
They can’t keep their stories straight as some managers say the layoff was performance based while others state they were based on the needs of each department. For all wondering, a lot of managers were not blindsided- they knew.

They are trying to manipulate and twist things so we adhere to their reality and it is sick beyond belief. It felt like the twilight zone. How any of these people are in their positions is beyond me. A day walking in the shoes of the actual employees doing all the work would crumble them to pieces.

Everyone found out teams were being moved around and the managers who are left will now take on more to their teams. So they lay off people just to move others into their positions. A certain manager could hardly contain her excitement as she has successfully played the game and is the perfect amount of narcissist to join their club. Watched her Smile knowing some of the people let go were influential and knew how to lead, unlike her.

Jokes and laughs in meetings made no sense to me. How can anyone feel good about being here? Being connected to a place that is so merciless. If you are reading this and you are currently still employed here and told today that you are valued and the future of the company please take a good hard look in the mirror, because you’re not. Unless, the value they had for everyone yesterday differs from the value they have today- not likely.

Go on and do better things! Companies like this don’t make it. Sure, they will stay afloat, but they will never be good and they will never be as prosperous as they so dreamt of- but you all will! You deserve better, you will have better!

Another corporate company with a revolving door of people coming and going with no one ever knowing how to do the job.

  1. Are we sure scheduled PTO will go unpaid?

That's what I was informed

  1. In the Employment agreement, they must provide us with commission earned up until the termination date. Have we confirmed?
  2. Do we know how many people were let go to see if it falls under the Warn act?
